BINUS@ BEKASI WINE WORKSHOP BY CHILE EMBASSY & PT JADDI
Still in the series of Guest Lecture Workshop ”Understanding Wine from Chile” on Friday 28th October 2022, Mr. Dan Borzutzky as Trade Commissioner from Embassy of Chile visited Business Hotel Management in Binus Bekasi with Ibu Jeanne as Brand Manager from PT JADDI, to continue sharing the knowledge of Chilean Wine. Ibu Maria Pia Adiati act as the host during the workshop, accompanied by Bapak Indra as the course lecturer.
This session was attended by 26 students, vary from 7th semester semester (B2023), 1st semester student (B2026), and 3rd semester student (B2025) as a part of Café & Bar Business course. The workshop took place at Restaurant Lab@ BHM first floor and last for almost three hours from 13.00 to 16.00 hrs. The workshop was opened by Bapak Albert Hasiholan as the Representative Commercial in Embassy of Chile, in which he explained about Chile in general then continued by Mr. Dan explaining the Chilean wine.
During the session, Mr. Dan give a surprise giveaway of chile wine for one student who can answer the question. Jevanuz from 7th semester is the student who can answer the question and receive the wine from Mr. Dan. The next session is wine testing conducted with Ms. Jeanne. The steps to test the wine is explained and practiced as well. The students are following the steps and excited to test different wine and taste some ingredients to pair with.
