I am a Binusian 2023 majoring in Hotel Management specialized in Hotel Operations Service. I learned a lot here such as Front Office Class, F&B Service Class, Housekeeping Class, Kitchen Class. I always enjoyed learning about hotels, one of my favorite classes is the Front Office Class. All the classes in Binus University supported by excellent facilities, such as Front Office Class at Binus uses a role play system with OPERA which is widely used by the hospitality industry.

Started my career with The Westin Jakarta as a Trainee, then got the Best Trainee title from the Front Office Department for the period July 2021 – January 2022 and completed my 1 year training with The Westin Jakarta. I was so blessed with extraordinary leaders and team. I feel honored and grateful to be placed in a good and very supportive team in order to support my career. I’m honored to be given a direct offer as the Voyager from the General Manager of The Westin Jakarta, Samit Ganguly, the Front Office Manager, Steffi Kirana as well as the Human Resource department. After going through such a long application process and interviews, I am finally accepted in this Marriott Voyage Program.

Marriott Voyage Program is Marriott International’s 12–18-month, award-winning global leadership development program offering resources and support for future leaders of the company across Marriott’s hotel brands. Where the Marriott Voyage Program will provide a series of training with experts in their respective fields to form a leadership spirit from ourselves and learn many things that are very useful in your career path. This Marriott Voyage Program does not only provide a series of training and assignments for me, but here I am taught how to become a “Leader” who can lead a team well. I believe this position that I am holding, can develop me to become a better person professionally and be a great impact for the business as well as the guest’s satisfaction.

Also, the Marriott Voyage Program not only give me knowledge but also give me new connections and friends because there are other Voyagers from different cities and countries. So, I highly recommend you register yourself to be a part of the Marriott Voyage family. From this point, I am grateful all the hard work has been recognized and I therefore awarded as Superstar of the Year 2023.
