Ritz Carlton Class

Ritz Carlton Class is special program designed for Internship Program Between Hotel Management of Binus University and Ritz Carlton in Jakarta (both Ritz Carlton Pacific Place and Ritz Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan). With this progam, the good talent will be nurtured in Ritz Carlton during the internship.

As the first step for this program, started by internship candidates selection at Anggrek Campus on 15^TH April 2015, Binus University.  There were introduction of Head of Department from both hotel such as Front Office Manager, Restaurant Manager and Human Resources Department Ritz Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan. Ritz Carlton Pacific Place represented by Kitchen Department (Banquet, Chinese and Cold Kitchen), Restaurant Manager and Human Resources Department.

 

This event is opened by an explanation of RC Class Program. The material of RC Class was shared by Bapak Agustinus as Director of Human Resources at Ritz Carlton Pacific Place.

The career path at Ritz Carlton could be continued after graduate from school since Ritz Carlton has a Management Trainee progam called Voyage. Voyage Progam is 18months program for the Marriott group and everyone who pass this progam will be in level of Junior Manager/ Assistant Manager.

A sharing session is added and some Binus students who previously attend the internship at Ritz Carlton Pacific Place (Elma Febriana) and Ritz Carlton Jakarta Mega Kuningan (Astri Larasati and Ellen Gunawan). Elma Febriana and Astri Larasati are Best Trainee for period of July 2014- January 2015. All of the three students continued the second internship at the same hotel since they get  a lot of experience during their internship.

The internship selection attended by 50 candidates and 43 students was confirmed as trainee at both hotels.

A luncheon is held at Hotel Management Restaurant Lab who was prepared by culinary students and served by Hotel Operation Services’s students.
