The ICA Goes to School 2026 program was successfully held at the Kitchen Laboratory of BINUS University’s Hotel Management program, as part of the preparation for one of the largest culinary events in Indonesia, organized by the Indonesian Chef Association, taking place on May 5–7, 2026. This initiative aimed to introduce students to professional culinary competitions while strengthening their technical and creative skills in the kitchen.

A total of 12 selected students from Hotel Management Program B26 and B28 participated in this intensive session, focusing on two main competition categories: red meat and seafood. The training was mentored by Patrick Raymond, who guided the students through competition standards, plating techniques, and time management. Prior to the competition simulation, Chef Patrick conducted a live cooking demonstration, offering valuable insights into professional execution and presentation.

The session concluded with an internal competition, showcasing the students’ skills and creativity. The winners were Olivia from B28, who excelled in the Seafood category, and Dennisa from B26, who achieved top recognition in the Red Meat category. In addition, Renzo from B28 earned a prestigious golden ticket, granting him the opportunity to advance to the upcoming Chef Competition at the national level.

Through ICA Goes to School 2026, BINUS University continues to support experiential learning and industry collaboration, empowering students to step confidently into competitive culinary environments and represent their skills on a broader stage.
